South Salish Friends Worship Group

 South Salish Friends Worship Group, is a Quaker group in the unprogrammed tradition of Friends, under the care of Tacoma Friends Meeting.   We are located in Olympia, WA at the bottom of what settlers called Puget Sound - Mudd Bay.  The native people who have lived here from time immemorial have called it the Salish Sea. We have discovered that we as a group share a heightened sense of spirituality in nature and the outdoors.  Thus when weather permits we meet outdoors for worship - often in Squaxin park among the 2nd growth trees.  We also hold other common Quaker beliefs -like that of God in everyone or testimonies:                                        * In Peace thru Nonviolence                                        * In Sim...
